I’m Heidi Mills, a Certified Relationship Coach and I specialize in burn-out recovery. I use trauma and somatic-informed resources to help you recover the best of who you are so you can live with more joy, belonging, and connection.

After experiencing a life-altering relational crisis, I did everything I knew to heal. As a woman of faith, I sought healing spiritually first. I tried to address the physical symptoms of the trauma with prayer and functional medicine. I didn’t know what I didn’t know.

While these approaches did help to an extent, it wasn’t the complete picture. For me to hold any semblance of a breakthrough, I had to deny what my inner person knew was true. The cognitive dissonance was too great and culminated in my physical symptoms becoming so exasperated that I was housebound and the doctors had no answers.

It wasn’t until I started engaging my story with the guidance of a coach, and addressed the effects of stress and trauma on my nervous system, that I truly began healing.

There were skills I needed to learn to stop repeating the same negative cycles over and over, and I began the slow practice of increasing true resilience and growing a new kind of strength. A flexible, compassionate, sustainable strength.

There’s no quick fix for a transformation like this. There are no shortcuts.

As a coach, it is my honor to help you rediscover the beauty found in your story.

This work is not about fixing what’s “wrong” with us. We aren’t a problem to be fixed. We are Imago Dei, worthy of kindness, care, and dignity.

Women who grow in compassion and curiosity for their story move forward, even if only an inch at a time initially.
